Creating my First Android App project with Android IDE

Hello everyone! Welcome to my Blog. I am Ashok. I am a student and self-taught Android developer and today, I am here to share my story of creating my first Android app using Android IDE. It was a challenging journey but the outcome was worth it.

I always had an interest in app development and wanted to learn Android application programming. However, I faced one big challenge, I didn't have a personal computer or laptop. I was determined to not let this stop me from pursuing my passion, so I started using my mobile phone as my development environment. And that's when I discovered Android IDE.

About Android IDE

Android IDE is a mobile app that allows you to create and build Android applications directly from your mobile phone. It was a game-changer for me as it gave me the opportunity to learn Android development practically on the go. It's helpful for students or anyone who is interested in learning Android development but can't afford a computer or laptop.

My First Android App Project

I started by learning the basics of programming through free resources like YouTube, Coursera, and Sololearn. And then, I started my first Android app project called "Online Learning App". Developing an Android app with Android IDE was quite challenging compared to Android Studio, but I didn't give up.

My persistence and hard work paid off Today, as I landed an internship at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT Kharagpur) as an Android Development intern. I was grateful for this opportunity and I knew that I had to work even harder to make the most of it.

In my next post, I will talk about "How to create your first Android App in Android IDE" on mobile.

Conclusion

In conclusion, my journey has taught me that sometimes you have to create your own ladder with the resources you have. You don't always find a ladder ready-made, but that should not stop you from pursuing your dreams. I want to leave you with these simple and powerful motivational words we all know, "Never give up." And that's my story, I hope it inspires you to keep learning and growing as a person. Thank you for reading, and until next time, happy coding! )
